Derek is has supported Mission Housing for a number of years and currently serves as Treasurer on the board. He works as portfolio manager at Invesco, and formerly Legal & General, looking after pension & insurance assets.

Derek is a qualified actuary and contributes to industry developments on managing long-term cashflows, as well as taking a personal interest in how Christians can think missionally with their savings.

He is married with two children, who he realises are beginning to overtake him in various ways!
