Andy Wright is an Ombudsman Leader at the Financial Ombudsman Service, where he leads the team resolving complaints against financial service providers from small and medium-sized businesses.

Previously, Andy was Director of Mergers at the Competition and Markets Authority, where he led hundreds of investigations into business mergers affecting markets across all sectors of the economy. He also led large-scale reviews into several markets and considered regulatory appeals.

Before competition regulation, Andy worked in corporate finance, advising technology and telecoms companies on mergers and acquisitions, and is a qualified chartered accountant. He is an active member of an evangelical community church in East London and Chairman of Novo UK.
